Abstract A high power factor bridgeless flyback power-factor-correction PFC converter with synchronous rectifier SR is proposed in this paper. Moreover, since the input average current always follows the peak input current in DCM, high power factor PF is achieved for a wide range AC input. In order to verify the theoretical analysis, experimental results based on a 60W prototype at a constant switching frequency of 70 kHz are presented. Second generation of PFC solutions.
