I really appreciated getting that perspective, and hosue there’s a “lesson” I’m taking away from this, it’s that no matter your politics, the current soldiers and veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars deserve respect and support for doing what our country asked them to do. If you want to understand what it is like to fight the battle hardened and drugged up enemies of Al Quaeda, Isis and the lot this book is the next worst thing to actually being there!
